لماذا ترمش عين الانسان
أظهرت دراسة جديدة ان "رمش" العين (اغلاق الجفن وفتحة بسرعة ) بشكل أوتوماتيكي ليس عشوائياً وإنما الهدف منه هو الحؤول دون الإصابة بالعمى.
و ان إغلاق الجفن وفتحه مراراً وتكراراً يحول دون التحديق بشكل ثابت ما يعني ان العين تتحرك باستمرار ما يمنع فقدان البصر.
وقال خبراء ان بحثاً جديداً أظهر ان رمش العين مرتبط بالمنطقة عينها من الدماغ التي تستخدم لقراءة الصحف ورؤية الأشياء المتحركة.
وتبين للعلماء ان الهدف من هذه الحركة هو "تحديث" الصور على شبكة العين وإلاّ فإنها ستختفي تدريجياً. وقال الدكتور ريتشارد كراوليس من معهد سالك في كاليفورنيا ان "مركز إعطاء الأوامر" في الدماغ هو المسؤول عن إغماض الجفن وفتحه.
أما الدكتور زياد حافد فقال انه "بسبب تلاشي الصور عن شبكة العين يقوم الجهاز العصبي المركزي بتحريك الجفن ما يساهم في تحسن الرؤية وتحديث الصور على الشبكة ما يحول دون الإصابة بالعمى".
تحدث رمشة العين بشكل تلقائي وبإيعاز من الدماغ للعين حين تصبح العين مجهدة من كثرة التركيز أو السهر وتكون بمثابة تنبيه على ضرورة إراحة عضلة العين والهدف منها تجديد الصورة على شبكة العين حيث أن كثرة التركيز وعلى فترة طويلة قد يسبب قصر النظر واذا لم يتم اراحة العين قد تصاب بالعمى.

A new study has shown that "eyelash" eye (eyelid closure and opening speed) automatic not random, but the goal is to prevent blindness.
And that the closure of the eyelid and open it again and again prevents stare steadily which means that the eyes are constantly moving to prevent vision loss.
Experts said new research showed eyelash eye is linked to the same region of the brain that are used to read the newspapers and see moving objects.
The scientists found that the aim of this movement is to "update" the images on the retina otherwise they will disappear gradually. Said Dr. Richard Krolis of the Salk Institute in California that "give orders center" in the brain is responsible for closing the lid and open it.
Dr. Ziad Hafed said that "because of the fading images of the retina is the central nervous system by moving the eyelid what contributes to the improvement of vision and update the images on the network that prevents blindness."
Blink of an eye automatically occur at the behest of the brain to the eye while becoming stressful eye of the large number of focus or iPod and serve as an alert to the need to rest the eye muscle and is intended to renew the image on the retina, where the large number of concentration and over a long period may cause myopia and if they are not to rest the eye may become blind.
